Get Your Golf Swing Started with Momentum
Getting a swing trigger is one of the best ways to start your golf swing on the right path.
Too many amateurs start the golf swing in a static or stagnant position which forces them make compensations in the backswing and downswing.
Get a trigger and get a repeatable swing!

hi guys Alex Forte here the artist
00:08
simple golf starting the goals from can
00:11
be a little bit tricky it is for me you
00:13
know I have a problem of snatching away
00:15
too too much sometimes take it on the
00:19
inside taking it too much on the outside
00:20
for some reason it's a part of the golf
00:23
swing that I've always struggled with
00:25
but we can understand what we do in
00:31
everyday life to set momentum up and
00:33
movement for the golf swing and really
00:36
we need a trigger you know you'll see a
00:37
lot of players do a couple of things
00:39
that maybe they have a forward push with
00:42
their hands but you know that seems like
00:44
the big movement but a lot of times not
00:46
only other hands moving forward it's
00:48
actually the legs at the same time so
00:50
that they'll be like a push forward and
00:52
a push back to why'd she initiate that
00:55
movement you know if we were doing
00:57
anything Movement wise that we're trying
01:01
to generate something whether it be a
01:02
you know pitcher throwing a ball doing a
01:05
tennis racket we don't just you know go
01:08
back straightaway usually there's a you
01:10
know we go here and then we leverage so
01:12
we're not talking about swaying but
01:14
we're talking about moving that pressure
01:16
okay so on the legs what we want to
01:20
actually feel is just as we start the
01:22
golf swing what we want to feel like a
01:24
bit of pressure in that front leg and
01:26
then back and it's actually that's the
01:28
trigger you're going to do so it's like
01:30
I'm starting the swing by feeling lip
01:31
squeezing on the inside of the thigh
01:33
here and then I'm starting back and then
01:35
it's moving on to the inside of the
01:38
right leg here it's a it might take a
01:40
little while to get used to but it will
01:42
hopefully give you a better feeling of
01:45
starting the golf swing that isn't as
01:47
much rushing not Russian but rushing the
01:51
the swing especially from the takeaway
01:53
which can make us go too deep and can
01:55
cause a bit of trouble so you know let's
01:58
feel almost light and place that
02:00
movement on the swing here but as we
02:03
start we're just going to go okay so
02:05
there's my target there's my target and
02:07
then I was going to start and swing
02:12
okay that's the move that we want it's
02:16
gonna actually take a lot of thoughts
02:18
away for you of what you're thinking
02:20
about position wise so let's try that
02:23
again
02:24
but let's emphasize it just a little bit
02:27
just for the practice drill reason okay
02:29
so we're going to push forward and then
02:31
push back keep a nice width and a smooth
02:35
goal swing so let's go through it again
02:38
so we're going forward back and then
02:43
swing through got a little bit clean but
02:48
the idea is that I'm initiating my swing
02:50
correctly to give me the width to give
02:53
me the tempo that I want from the very
02:56
beginning so please like and subscribe
